Title: Kingdom Hearts in the Pagemaster
Rating: T for coarse language
Fandom: Kingdom Hearts/Pagemaster
Characters: Roxas and DiZ
Note: I'm continuing this anyway weather anyone cares or not, I'm bored and I've got to get this out of my mind before I go crazy. The previous chapter was very brief, but I just wanted to skip the chatter between Roxas and his parents. Just keep in mind that this story will be hard to understand if you haven't seen the Pagemaster before.

Chapter 2: The Library

Roxas ran up the stairs to the massive double doors made of wood and carved with elaborate patterns. He opened them and rushed inside the building to get out of the rain. Once inside, Roxas found himself standing on a marble tiled floor and around him were shelves of books that reached up toward the high ceiling.

Roxas heard footsteps and the squeaking of wheels. Coming towards him was a strange man wearing a weird robe and red wrappings around his face, pushing a cart loaded with books. The man stopped and left his cart to approach Roxas.

"You," said the man in a deep voice, "you're probably here to check out the fantasy tales." He got closer. "Brave knights, fearsome dragons, delightful faeries!" He clamped one hand on Roxas' shoulder. "Of course, adventure, you must be the sort who loves adventure! The high seas, blood thirsty pirates, and great beasts of the deep."

Staring bug-eyed at the man, Roxas took a step back. He suddenly felt very uncomfortable around this weird man.

"Horror," the man said in a low whisper, "you must check out the horror tales. Haunted houses, monsters, ghosts, and grave yards." The man appeared to smile slyly under his wrappings. "Yes, it's horror for you boy."

"Um," started Roxas nervously, "I'm not really hear to check out any books." He realized that his hair and clothes were still dripping with rain water. "I just came in because of the storm."

"Oh," said the man, "I see."

"Is there a phone here?" asked Roxas. "I just have to call my parents and let them know I'm alright."

"Yes, there is one beyond the fiction section of the library. Before you do use the phone, can I see your library card?"

"I don't have a library card," said Roxas.

"You do now," said the librarian, whipping out a blank library card. "Just sign your name on it and it's yours." He handed Roxas the card and a pen, Roxas signed the card. "Your library card is your passport to other worlds by a turn of the page."

"Thanks," said Roxas, pocketing his library card and walking toward where the phone was.

"Just remember," said the librarian, "if you get lost, look for the exit sign just above the door." He pointed to a sign labeled EXIT in glowing green letters.

Roxas only glanced at the sign just as he ventured down deeper into the library. When he reached the center of the library, he stopped on the compass design on the tiled floor and stared up at the painted domed ceiling. There were five paintings on the ceiling, each showing different characters. One picture was of an armored knight about to fight a large Heartless dragon. Another was of a young man with shoulder length hair casting a shadow of a more beastly shape. The third was of an old man in a row boat about to throw a harpoon at a gigantic whale. The fourth picture was of a group of pirates, the captain looked like a man so evil that Hell itself spat him back out. In the center was of an old man with his silvery hair flowing to his shoulders, a short beard and wore a blue scarf and white long coat.

Unaware that his clothes were still dripping, Roxas took a step and slipped on the water. He fell and bumped his head. Groaning, he sat up rubbing the spot where his head was hit, then something happened.

Globs of paint were dripping from the ceiling, Roxas looked up and saw that the paintings were melting. The paint drops got on his jacket, and Roxas pulled it off and ran down an aisle of book shelves. The paint began pouring down, then it warped into a dragon shape and began chasing him.

Turning every corner he could find, Roxas tried to keep ahead of the mass of paint. He found himself back to the center of the library. The paint surrounded him, then it consumed him.

"Oh shit," gasped Roxas as the paint closed in on him.

When things settled down, Roxas looked at his hands, realizing that he was now a two-dimensional animation instead of the three-dimensional.

"Oh my God," he said, "I'm a cartoon!"

"You are an illustration," said the old man from the central painting as he approached Roxas.

"Who are you?"

"The Pagemaster, keeper of the books." He waved his hand at the book shelves. "Fiction, a place where all is possible."

"You're the guy from up there," said Roxas, pointing to the ceiling. "Where are the others?"

"They're here, all around us."

"Uh, how do I get out of here?"

"To the exit," the Pagemaster said. "It will be a long journey, and it starts with a turn of the page." A book cart rolled down the aisle, slamming Roxas onto the top, then it kept rolling with Roxas holding on. "If you get lost, look to the books. To get home, you must face the challenges of horror, adventure and fantasy."

Roxas, holding on to the roll away cart, let out a yelp as the cart crashed into the pay phone.

To be continued...

End Note: Now Roxas is in the library and is going to begin his journey in the world of books. Again, this is kind of rushed, but I tried to keep as faithful as possible to the film. Oh yeah, expect a lot of Square Enix and Disney characters appearing in this. You can probably guess who will appear based on the ceiling pictures. Yes, DiZ is the librarian and Ansem the Wise is the Pagemaster, if you thought Christopher Lloyd was scary in that film, then Christopher Lee's voice would be even scarier.

Title: Kingdom Hearts in the Pagemaster
Rating: T for coarse language and some violence
Genre: Parody/Humor
Character Focus: Roxas and DiZ
Summary: Being socially awkward and always afraid, Roxas suddenly sees things from a new perspective during a fateful trip to a strange library.
Disclaimer: Kingdom Hearts and all related characters are copyright Square Enix and Disney. The Pagemaster is copyright to 20th Century Fox.
Note: I always wanted to do this, the Pagemaster is a film that loved to watch as a child, but now I really have to make the cast of Kingdom Hearts suffer in a parody of it. Even though some people said the the film was awful, I thought it was okay for an animated film.

Chapter 1: Meet Roxas

It was a stormy night in Twilight Town, and Roxas was very agitated by the thunder and lightning. Climbing out of his bed, he tip toed to the window and peered through the blinds. The sky was dark and cloudy, the wind howled, there was a flash of lightning with a boom of thunder.

Roxas gasped and jumped back from the window. He shuddered for a few seconds, then he tip toed outside his bedroom door. Quietly walking down the hall to his parents room, Roxas stopped to hear the voices speaking behind the door.

Listening to his parents talk, Roxas realized that they were talking about him. They had been speaking about Roxas' paranoid behavior over every single thing from getting poisoned by eating pesticide toxins in apples to getting seriously injured in Struggle. There was even mention of the treehouse being built in the tree that Roxas refused to climb.

Bowing his head, Roxas knew that he had been worrying his parents because he was worrying over everything. He couldn't help but be cautious over the things he did and avoid doing things that he thought were risky.

With a sigh, Roxas walked back to his room, sensing that his parents were both disappointed in him. As he entered his room, another flash of lightning occurred. With a gasp of surprise, Roxas jumped into bed and hid under the covers.

The next morning, Roxas was helping his father build the tree house. Refusing to climb the ladder to avoid any accidents, Roxas used a pulley to send a bucket of tools to his father in the tree house. However, Roxas' father hit his head and fell from the tree, luckily there was no injury. After the little accident, Roxas was sent to the hardware store to pick up more nails.

Being the overly cautious type, Roxas geared up with a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and a bright orange vest as he rode his skateboard down the road. As he went further down the road, he saw Seifer, Fuu, and Rai. They were occupied jumping their skateboards off the ramp and doing other tricks.

"Hey look," said Seifer, "it's that little pussy Roxas with all of his safety gear!"

"He's such a wuss, ya know," said Rai.

"Yeah," said Fuu.

"Hey Roxas," shouted Seifer, "why don't you give the ramp a try? You probably might just fall!"

Roxas, not really wanting to deal with Seifer, turned around and rolled away on his skateboard.

"What's the matter you chicken?" Seifer and his gang burst out in a fit of laughter at Roxas' retreat.

While getting as far as possible from Seifer, Roxas noticed that the sky was turning dark and gloomy. The storm from last night was starting up again, the wind stirring, lightning flashing. One bolt struck the nearest electric pole, causing Roxas to nearly jump off his skateboard. As fast as he could, he skated through a dark tunnel, trying to find shelter on the other side. The wind was getting worse and there was rain.

Being blinded by the wind and rain in his face, Roxas lost control over his skateboard and crashed into a tree. He fell hard on his back.

"Oh shit," he grunted. Roxas sat up and removed his helmet, running a hand through his spiky blonde hair. "No head injury, thank God." Removing the rest of his safety gear, Roxas ran into a nearby building, a large, spooky looking library.

To be continued...

End Note: So that was chapter 1 of this crazy parody. If you wish for me to continue, it'll be a pleasure. I'm having bad writer's block with my other two stories in progress, so I am just writing this whenever I do get bad block.

By the way, the Pagemaster was an okay film, not very great but not terrible. I personally can't stand that Culkin kid, but most of the voice overs are impressive.

I suppose that this is a very pointless entry, but I will describe my dull week as best as possible. First, I mostly made trips to the bank and the mall to get some personal things taken care of, like my bus pass. Also, I am working a an entry for a contest, I really hope my efforts will be worthy. The contest is about the end of the world theme, which does look exciting to do. I've already got the painting started, so I really can't wait to post the entry into the contest. I never really expect to win, but it's fun.

Well, I went to a long seminar today at the dojo. I built up a lot of sweat from the kick-boxing workout and enjoyed my time with other people. This might sound gross, but the sweat soaking into the underpants does feel very uncomfortable and it's very sticky. There was also some camera in the room, filming us, of course the only thing I could do was just exercise and not look at the camera. Maybe most people want the glory of being filmed, but I just didn't feel like have my sweat dripping face being filmed. That was pretty much the only exciting thing that I've done this week.

Oh boy, soon it will be December and the holiday madness sets in, driving people insane. I really don't bother getting ready for Christmas so early, besides, I prefer a month without holiday craze. Usually in the middle of December I prepare for the Christmas holiday. I make greeting cards, set up decorations, clean my house as best as my family would allow, then I prepare an appetizer or dessert, and I go shopping. Yeah, I know that sounds like a lot, but it's not that bad.

As for my job search, I have already sent resumes to at least two employers, I just have to wait for their response. I know that most of the work in the graphics field is in Toronto, but I really don't want to go to that city just to get a job. Too many bad things happen in that city and I want nothing to do with them.

The long research and the quiz were all done within two hours, shortly before the closing time in the employment center. I had to run through the quiz twice due to the fact that 100% is a pass and anything below means taking the quiz again. Now that I have passed the test, I am able to move on in my job search.

I might not have any luck with employment in the graphic design companies, but I do have a new web project and I am going to get started as soon as possible.

To better describe this story, Mina is a vampire living in the 1980s, all the other League members are dead, and while looking for prey, she finds Laurie, who is engaged to Dan.

When I met her, things went different from according to plan.

It was a late night, I was hitting the bars in an American town for a chance to find something to satisfy my appetite. The atmosphere of the bar was dark with dim ceiling lights, the air was heavy with smoke and the odor of booze. Around me were men in leather and denim, women scantily clad, such drastic contrast to time period I had known in my youth.

I wore something befitting of the current time period, yet I was not exposing more than I needed. The leather jacket, boots, mini skirt, red blouse and choker band was enough.

As I located an empty seat at the bar, I looked down the bar to see a woman attempting to light a cigarette in a bizarre cigarette holder. Her style of clothing was similar to mine, only she wore tight denim trousers and a white blouse, her dark hair hung in curtains around her face and shoulders. It was more than her appearance I was drawn to, I found the scent of her perfume and her body very alluring.

She was getting frustrated with her lighter when I finally approached her and lit her cigarette with my own lighter. I smiled at her as she accepted my assistance and inhaled the tobacco smoke.

"Thank you," she said taking a puff. I had a better look at her, she appeared to be in her late thirties or early forties, yet she had a very shapely figure for her age. She had eyes blue like my own, lips almost as red and curvy as mine, a beauty mark highlighted her right cheek, and the addition of make up enhanced the shape of her face.

"Glad to be of help," I said. "May I ask what your name is?"

"It's Laurie," she answered between puffs. "Yours?"

"Mina," I answered. "Just going to be in town for several nights."

"That's funny, my fiancé is out of town for several nights."

"You're getting married?" My brow was arching over my right eye.

"Within a few months," she said. I noticed that her glass, which had smudges from her lipstick, was empty.

"Allow me to buy you another drink," I offered. I asked the bar tender another glass for my new acquaintance.

"I appreciate it," said Laurie. She downed the drink I got for her.

This was never the way I planned, not my intention
I got so brave, drink in hand, lost my discretion
It's not what I'm used to, just wanna try you on
I'm curious for you caught my attention

The next thing I knew was that I was walking with her back to her flat, we exchanged giggles as we walked through the streets. She told me of this fiancé of hers, that they had been working together and she was taking the time to herself while he was absent. In return, I told her I was traveling the world while I was off work, which was partly true since the world would call upon my services again.

I kissed a girl and I liked it
The taste of her cherry chapstick
I kissed a girl just to try it
I hope my boyfriend don't mind it

We entered her flat, which we had all to ourselves, a regular place with furniture and very little decor. She removed her jacket and tossed it on a chair, I quickly repeated her action. Laurie sat down on the couch and I took a seat next to her. She stared at me with her bright blue eyes, a smile playing at the corners of her mouth. Then, the two of us were pressing our lips together.

It felt so wrong, it felt so right
Don't mean I'm in love tonight
I kissed a girl and I liked it
I liked it

Kissing a woman was so different from kissing a man. I had relationships with men before, my poor unfortunate husband, Dorian, then Tom. Yet, due to my condition, relationships with them did not last long. After being with different men from time to time, a woman felt new and refreshing.

With every kiss I gave her, I could taste the tobacco and booze in her mouth. Even though the taste would have been repulsive in a man's mouth, but a woman's mouth was so much sweeter.

No, I don't even know your name, it doesn't matter
You're my experimental game, just human nature
It's not what good girls do, not how they should behave
My head gets so confused, hard to obey

I had only just met this woman I was kissing on the couch. She began to undo the buttons of my blouse and I undid the buttons on hers. Considering that she was engaged, she probably had to be very drunk to start kissing someone else, especially a woman.

I kissed a girl and I liked it
The taste of her cherry chapstick
I kissed a girl just to try it
I hope my boyfriend don't mind it

"I do hope your fiancé isn't going to know of this when he returns," I said as I lay next to her on the couch.

"I probably won't remember this to tell him," she said with a laugh. She stroked my auburn hair with her slender fingers. "Your hair is like silk, I could never get my own to be just as soft."

It felt so wrong, it felt so right
Don't mean I'm in love tonight
I kissed a girl and I liked it
I liked it

She drifted off to sleep after our quick fling, I inhaled the scent of her hair and her perfume. I stared at her body exposed by the opened blouse, her skin was pale and smooth. Then, I found that my mouth was on her throat.

Us girls we are so magical
Soft skin, red lips, so kissable
Hard to resist, so touchable
Too good to deny it
It ain't no big deal, it's innocent

It was too hard to resist, I had to get blood sooner or later. Pricking her neck with my fangs, I drew out the warm red liquid. I lapped the blood greedily with my tongue, savoring every drop. However, I did not want to go out of control and drain her dry, since I really did enjoy my encounter with her.

I kissed a girl and I liked it
The taste of her cherry chapstick
I kissed a girl just to try it
I hope my boyfriend don't mind it

When I was done, I put my blouse and jacket back on and left the flat. I had to admit, I enjoyed kissing her more than drinking her blood. She was in a deep sleep when I drank her blood and she was drunk, so she could not remember everything. I hoped that I did not do anything to change her into a vampire, it would be a burden for her future husband.

I looked back for a moment, thinking about how much thrill I got from kissing another woman. I turned away and kept walking, knowing that she and I will never see each other again.

It felt so wrong, it felt so right
Don't mean I'm in love tonight
I kissed a girl and I liked it
I liked it

On early Tuesday morning, around 3 am, I was awake to watch the meteor shower. I was at the park near the lake, sitting on a bench, wearing my winter coat and wrapped up in a blanket. The skies were clear that the stars glittered over the lake. The meteors began to fall, lots of small ones, a few big ones, and there were some that fell downwards. I did bring a camera, but it the pictures didn't turn out right. I was hoping that a bunch of meteors would appear together, but there was only one at a time. I did enjoy it though, even if I did freeze.

    <lj:music>Bittersweet Symphony - the Verve</lj:music>

Okay, last night, I went to see that new movie 2012. It had to be the longest and most chaotic movie I've seen lately. Nearly three hours of destruction and people fleeing and screaming. Before the movie came out, I have seen documentaries and TV specials about cultures all over the world making predictions about the apocalypse and that the year 2012 would bring on doom of humanity. I'm going to make my summary and opinion of the film very brief.

The movie starts with the scientists in India finding that the Earth's core has been heating up. One scientist returns to Washington to report his findings, then plans to preserve humanity are set into motion.

Then the movie focuses on John Cusack, who is taking the kids out on a camping trip, only to find the area closed off due to volcanic activity. Later, Cusack meets with this radio host who is describing the world's end and the government conspiracy to cover it up.

Meanwhile, earthquakes and other natural disasters are happening throughout the world. Cusack, acting upon instinct, decides to get his family in a plane to get out of the city before it crumbles. There is a lot of driving through destruction and flying through destruction!

Later, Cusack gets a map from the radio host just when the forest erupts in a volcanic explosion. Then there is more driving and flying through destruction! Turns out the map is of China where the Ark project is being kept secret, and only the world's best get in, that would be the rich and famous of course. :P

The family gets a bigger plane by assisting a rich family pilot the plane to China. They make it to China by crashing the plane in the mountains, only the one pilot dies. Only the rich family got picked up by helicopters to get into the ships. However, John Cusack and his family find a way inside one of the ships, which are like the Ark in the Bible, containing animal species to be preserved when the flood strikes.

Once inside, they accidentally cause a jam in the gears that open and close the gates. Cusack, playing action hero, goes to get the problem fixed while risking his life. With the help of the son, who by some strange coincidence is named Noah, he finally gets the problem fixed and he returns alive and well. At the end, the storm ends and Africa is the only continent that survives, I'm not kidding. So the ships head to Africa to renew civilization, the end.

Now that I have summarized the main story line of the film, I have to admit that it was complex for a long movie about destruction upon the human race. There were the extra side stories of the geologist and the president, which were sometimes dull then other times dramatic, but they work into the main story with consistency, even though the film was long enough. The graphics are good with the massive tidal waves, the ground crumbling, and the volcanic eruption. I found the performances of John Cusack, Danny Glover, and Chiwetel Ejiofor well done for the dramatic tension. The rest of the cast was okay, but I was surprised to see Blu Mankuma from Tin Man as the elderly musician who gets lost at sea while on a cruise. I liked the film, even though Roland Emmerich's line of work is so typical with disaster films such as the alien invasions, second ice age caused by global warming, and lizard infestation caused by nuclear testing. So yes, it's not bad, it all depends on taste. Of course, if the world does end, I'll just accept the fact that humanity has to end and we can't do anything about it.

I just had my braces adjusted today. The process took like about an hour, they usually take about a half hour. They examined my x-ray from the dentist first, because the roots were getting nudged together at the front. Then there was lots of pulling and cranking in my mouth to get the wires changed at fastened in. Now, I can't even eat because it just hurts my mouth to chew. DX

Besides my mouth, I have been working at either improving my graphic design business or getting employment. I am going to meet an employment counsellor at the college to find a solution to get at least some work in the graphic design field. I wouldn't mind working part time at the local printing companies like I did after graduating. I can keep track of my work time and I really don't charge a high price, and most of the work I do is mostly layout.

I am thinking of creating my own graphic design community on LiveJournal. Just a community where I can do request design/art for others, most likely just to build my skills and add more to my portfolio, but I am not going to put charges on requests. I'll probably put a poll on just to get an idea if others think it's a good idea.

First thing I did on my Halloween Saturday was go to Future Shop for a job interview. I went into this back room with three other people where we were all asked questions by two men. We did have to take turns answering, and we had to write on the back of our papers about our time availability. I answered honestly and made references to my previous employment. As for my time availability, I mentioned I was available from 9 AM - 6 PM on weekdays, and 3 PM - 9 PM on Saturdays since I had martial arts class on Saturday mornings.

I also attended the black belt grading that the dojo was hosting, two people I know were grading that day. It was interesting, watching them perform and fight. The fun part was eating cupcakes and candy after! ^_^

I later met with my friend down town to catch a movie. We went to see The Vampire's Assistant, even though neither of us had read the book, and it was enjoyable for a film that was a bit weird. Some of the scenes were a bit gruesome, yet there were scenes that were funny. The vampires did run in a blurry motion like the ones from Twilight, but they were different, such as they don't glitter in the sunlight, and turning someone into a vampire required blood exchange. The weird bit was that William Dafoe looked like Vincent Price with that penciled mustache.

After taking a long bus ride from down town to a large transfer center, my dad picked my friend and I up so we could all have pizza at the house. I did help out handing candies to the trick or treaters, and we later watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show, another weird Halloween suitable movie. After the movie, my friend went home and I watched a very offensive episode of South Park, which was funny, but really offensive. I have no idea how they get away with it.

That was my Halloween, now I have my laundry to do. @_@

I admit that I am not really fond of the Jekyll/OC pairing, first I think it's too much like a short cut, second is that the OCs do get very annoying. When it comes to Skinner/OC and Sawyer/OC, I don't find them as annoying because they're not as common, so it's just Jekyll/OC that grinds my gears. That is why I have written this, it is meant to be a funny and scary story and I do not intend to offend anyone. As a warning, do not complain about the content of this story.

...

You can still turn back if this might offend you.

...

Do you really want to read this?

...

Okay, but don't whine and cry to me if you thought the story was mean.

On a dark autumn night in London, England, during the late Victorian period, a lone man walked on the shadowy streets. Yet, the tall copper haired, pale faced man in black gentleman's clothes was not truly alone. Dr. Henry Jekyll had the company of his dark side, Edward Hyde, within his mind, and there was someone or something following him.

Nervously glancing over his shoulder, Henry saw a group of at least four or five people walking within the shadows, out of reach of the street lamps. Nervously gulping, Henry changed his focus on the path ahead, trying his best to keep ahead of his stalkers. If he could get back to the Nautilus for the night, he would not have to worry about being followed.

"Come on, let me out," said Edward in Jekyll's head, "I could simply scare them off."

"You don't scare us, Mr. Hyde," said a high, melodic, feminine voice from behind.

Henry spun around to see that his stalkers had gotten closer. There were five of them, all of them were young women by appearance, they each had a style of clothing combined with their hair to enhance their beauty.

"Who are you?" asked Henry, trying to sound polite. "How is it that you can hear Hyde?"

"Oh," said the girl who spoke first, "I have a gift of telepathy, I can hear other people's thoughts." She wore a clean white blouse, a leafy green skirt, her eyes were bright green with red around her pupils, and her brass curls dropped to her shoulders.

"Uh..." Henry started, his blue-grey eyes widening.

"I can also hear your dark side," said another woman sweetly, "I come from a world where people are telepathic, strong, fast, and sexy!" She posed, showing off how her green outfit was nicely placed on her curves. She whipped her short red hair in addition to her display.

"I could knock her block off," sneered Hyde, "with that pissing display!"

"I'm not scared of mean old Mr. Hyde," cooed another woman, her eyes glowing yellow, "I am after all, a werewolf." She playfully twirled a finger in her long dark hair, the other hand fiddled with the buttons of her red dress.

"Oh.." Henry stammered, feeling very uncomfortable around these women.

"Hello, Henry," said a dark skinned and dark haired young woman, "did Nemo tell you about me? I'm his long lost daughter." She did appear Indian due to her garments and her skin color, but there was no proof to her identity.

"Bullshit!" Hyde snarled within Henry's mind.

The fifth woman remained silent, she wore a plain white shirt and matching pants with her brown hair tied back. Even though she didn't say anything, she was staring at Henry like a woman would stare at shiny new jewelry.

"Why don't you come with us?" asked the telepathic girl. "We'll be very nice to you."

"Um..." Henry was at a loss for words as he tugged at his collar.

"You better get out of this," Hyde scolded Henry.

"You don't have to get out of this," said the young woman in green, "you might find us a pleasure."

"Forget about that vampire bitch, she only loves that American," said the werewolf woman with a snarl, "she won't mind if we take you."

"Miss," said Henry, feeling that insulting other League members was too much for him to hear, "I would appreciate it if you didn't speak about Mrs. Harker that way." He was fond of Mina even though she had already announced her new relationship with Tom Sawyer, but Henry decided that Mina was more like a sister to him.

"Oh, how noble of him to stand up for his fellow members," said the girl who claimed that she was Nemo's daughter.

"Come with us," the young women said together. "Give us pleasure." They began to advance, hands reaching to grab him, very lustful expressions on their pretty faces.

"Get the fuck out of this!" Hyde roared in Jekyll's head.

Henry, noticing a street to his right, quickly bolted out of reach of the strange young women. He ran down the street as fast as he could, not daring to look back. Behind him, he could hear them calling for him to come back.

"Let me out," demanded Hyde, "I'll give those skanks a good beating."

"Not unless I can't find a way back to the Nautilus," said Henry as he jogged down the street and rounded the next corner. Still panicked in his flight, he tripped and fell onto his stomach with a grunt of pain.

"Are you alright?" asked a tender voice. Looking up, Henry saw that the speaker was a woman in a medium tan skirt, overcoat, and white blouse. She appeared older than the women who were stalking him, but still attractive for her age, her wheat blonde hair pinned up, and she was staring with concerned dark brown eyes.

"I-I am fine," he said nervously, getting to his knees. "I tripped because I was careless in my need to run."

"You appeared to be running as if the Devil himself was chasing you." The woman knelt down and clasped Henry's hand, in more of a helpful manner. "Please, allow me to help you up." The woman also introduced herself.

"My name is Dr. Henry Jekyll and I thank you," said Henry, brushing off his clothes. "However, I must get back to where I'm staying before they find me."

"Are you sure that you should tell her that?" asked Edward within Henry's mind.

"They?" The woman appeared slightly puzzled.

"Y-young women," said Henry, glancing behind him to see if his stalkers had been approaching, "they are coming after me."

"Sounds rather silly that a bunch of young women would be chasing you," the woman said. "Perhaps," she said, calmly placing her hands on her hips, "I should accompany you to where you are staying, I was only on my way home and I have no other plans. If these young ladies find you with me, they might not be so tempted to go after you."

"Careful," Hyde said, "she might be one of them."

"Edward," Henry responded to his alter-ego, "I think she can be trusted, she's not like those women who are stalking me."

Jekyll and the blonde woman walked down the road that would lead them to the docks where the Nautilus was. Side by side, they walked with their arms linked together. So far, they only encountered a few men who were walking home from the pubs and couples out for a night stroll. Just when they were near the docks, the young women who were stalking Henry were blocking their path.

"Who the Hell is she?" snarled the werewolf woman. Her eyes glowing yellow.

"That's none of your business," said the blonde woman boldly.

"What does she have that we don't?" asked the the telepath girl, eyeing the blonde woman with a frown.

"Uh..." started Henry, but his companion gently squeezed his arm to stop him from saying anything.

"We are younger," said the girl in green, "more attractive, and we have talents of our own. Why settle for a woman who is nothing like us?"

"I would like to know that, too," said the Indian girl, "why Henry would want the company of some dull woman instead of us."

The silent one crossed her arms and glared at Henry's companion.

"I ought to tell you all," said the blonde woman, "that Dr. Jekyll is in no mood to have a bunch of stalkers following him, I am going with him to his destination, and you will not disturb us. As for what you all think of me, I was at least not created by some horny fan girl."

"I'm going to tear you apart!" howled the werewolf woman as she slightly transformed, her ears pointed and furry, her teeth and claws razor sharp. Before she could pounce, there was a gunshot and the werewolf dropped dead with a bullet hole between her eyes.

"Silver bullet," the blonde whispered to Henry, holding her pistol out for the other young women to see.

"Before you decide to pull Dr. Jekyll and I apart," she continued, aiming the pistol at the other four women, "I suggest that you do not attempt it unless you want to be shot."

"I'm starting to like this woman," Edward said within Henry's mind.

"That's impossible," cried the telepath. "How can Edward start liking this... this woman?"

"An older woman with a pistol won't be enough to keep us away," said the girl in green, "let's just grab Henry and take him!"

"Oh God," uttered Henry as the remaining young women closed in on him and his companion.

"Not this night," the blonde woman said as she pulled through the only opening created by the demise of the werewolf. "Quick, run!"

"What the Hell are you doing?" asked Henry as he ran alongside the blonde.

"Getting you out of here!"

"Damn," commented Edward, "this woman really has a bold head on her shoulders!"

Behind them, the swarm of young woman were running and shouting. Henry kept a tight hold on his companion's hand as they fled. The blonde woman still had her pistol out at the ready. Yet, the girl in green caught up and jumped in front of them, causing them to stop.

"Hand him over you bitch," the girl in green demanded. "I am stronger, faster, and much prettier than you! I should be the one with him." She was about to advance onto them until the blonde fired her pistol, the bullet hit the girl in green straight through the heart. The girl gurgled and dropped dead.

"That was for calling me a bitch," said the blonde. "Come on, Dr. Jekyll, the others are gaining upon us!"

"This way," said Henry, leading his companion in the direction of the Nautilus. "We'll be safe once we're there."

"Henry," cooed the female voices from the shadows, "come to us. We just want to love you. Give us pleasure." Voices that sounded sweet and melodic at first were now starting to sound creepy.

"I really want to rip their fucking throats out," grumbled Edward.

"No time," replied Henry. As he and the blonde ran down to the docks, he could see the mighty Nautilus waiting for him. The sight was a quick welcome, yet there were the stalkers that were following him, calling for him.

"Wow," the blonde said when she saw the ship, "you sure have a taste in residence." She glanced at the remaining three stalkers approaching. "It would probably be more enjoyable once were inside!"

"Quick," said Henry. He and his companion had dashed up the ramp into the Nautilus interior. Once inside, Nemo approached them.

"What is going on?" he asked, seeing the distress.

"Captain, I was being stalked," replied Henry. "You have to close the door! These young women are trying to kidnap me!"

"Yes," said the blonde woman, "we have to keep them out of the ship."

Nemo, understanding the distress and wanting to keep security to his ship, commanded his men to bring in the ramp and close the door. As soon as the door was closed, there were voices outside.

"Damn it," cried the voice of the telepath, "they locked us out."

"How can Nemo do this to me?" whined the Indian girl. "His own daughter!"

"What in the name of Kali did that girl say?" asked Nemo with an edge of anger in his voice.

"Captain," said the blonde calmly, "I do believe that the girl had made up that nonsense so she could get Dr. Jekyll to trust her."

"I knew that it was bullshit," agreed Hyde.

"You seem to make sense," said Nemo, calming down. "May I ask who you are?"

Henry Jekyll introduced the woman to Nemo and told the story of what happened before they had entered the Nautilus.

"That is a problem," said Nemo, "perhaps your companion should remain on board until the threat passes."

"I'd be delighted, Captain," the blonde said with a curtsy.

"Come," said Henry, "I'll introduce you to my other friends." He led his companion down the hall and Nemo followed them.

"This might sound silly, Dr. Jekyll," the woman said, "but you remind me of my fiancé back when he was alive over twenty years ago."

"Your fiancé?"

"He was a sweet young man, but a tragedy took his life. Yet, I know I should move on as he would want me to do. Now that we are safe inside, away from your stalkers, we should learn more about each other."

"Yeah," said Edward, "I bet that she would love to meet me!"

"Can it, Edward," said Henry in his mind.

So Henry introduced his newly found friend to the rest of the League, trying to forget about the terror that had stalked him on the streets of London. Since they were all safe inside the Nautilus, the young women who were stalking Henry were no longer a problem. Or were they?

Happy Halloween!

Disclaimer: The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is copyright to Alan Moore and 20th Century Fox, all fictional characters are copyright to their respective authors.

End Note: Okay, that would be my scary/funny anti Jekyll/OC story. My apologies to the authors of those stories if I made very lame references to their characters, I did make sure not to use names, I only used brief descriptions.

As for the blonde woman who accompanied Henry back to the Nautilus, she is no character of mine, but a character from a Victorian era set book series. I could tell you who she is, but I think her identity must remain a secret. However, readers can guess who she is, the books she came from, and who the author is. I can understand why no one has tried inserting characters from other books to pair up with Henry or Skinner, because the idea was never really suggested and the research to find the right character would be a nightmare. I did find a character who would be good for Henry, I wrote her in this story, but her name shall remain my secret unless someone can guess. Oh, there are hints in this story, but it's up to the readers to put them all together.

I have been holding grudges for a very long, long time. Let's just say that I do not think I could forgive the people I am angry at that easily, I would let the heat of my anger out first, then that other person would have to make a good apology for causing the reason why I was angry.

I am a graphic designer, poet, artist, and fan fiction writer. I do try to imagine how everyone else might react, I just probably don't do it enough. I sometimes worry that I drawing I did might look horrible and that some story I wrote might be dull, but then I get comments telling me that my work is great. I try to create stuff that will try to appeal to everyone, but then there aren't many who might share the same taste. It does help the creative process though, knowing what people like and what I could do differently.

Big Hustle for Thanksgiving

This week, I was helping my dad prepare envelopes for these forms, brochures and newsletters to send out over the province. I helped adding the labels, the stamps, filling and sealing the envelopes. Since the mail was behind schedule, I was up late for several nights that has made me very tired. Today it was driving everywhere to get the mail to the post offices. It wasn't that bad, since I do enjoy road trips through the country side.

It's Thanksgiving this weekend for my family, so there will be a lot more hustle. I have to help clean up, prepare food, set the table, and organize everything. Perhaps preparing for the holiday is a lot of hard work, but it's satisfying.

I was recently contacted by someone searching for a web designer, I am eager to accept the job, but no decision has been made on the position. I really would like to do more web design and add more to my portfolio, I've been meaning to try programming sites with e-commerce and on line cataloging. Right now, I have no idea how my job applications will result, I've already sent so many resumes out to different companies and it is only a matter of time before I get any response.

Much to Do

Yesterday I spent my entire afternoon out shopping, even though I did not buy anything, and my friend and I went to see that new movie 9. We were lucky to catch the afternoon show on time and there was plenty of space in the theater during that time. It was a good film, dark, scary, and a little sad at the end. The film focuses on a group of nine living rag dolls created by a scientist when the human civilization is destroyed by the Machine. The rag doll called 9, voiced by Elijah Wood, decides to take the big responsibility on his tiny shoulders to overcome the Machine and save the world. The animation was awesome, the story line was interesting, some scenes do become slightly depressing, most of the characters die and I cannot say which ones because that would be spoilers.

I know that my first entry made it in to the gallery for the contest. I could probably submit another character and increase my chance at winning. That internship at Starz Animation does sound like a good advantage to a graphic designer like myself.

Speaking of graphic design, I finally got a few business cards printed for sending out. I am going to just give away just 10 cards for now, and I'm hoping that business will pick up.

    <lj:music>Hinder - Lips of an Angel</lj:music>

Okay, the local radio station had a contest to enter a draw to win motor cycles, gear, and lessons to ride them.  The contest to enter the draw was to listen to a list of six songs then call and name each song and artist.  For some reason, I could never get the last song and by the time I figure it out I'm too late when I call the station.  It really does suck when such a big opportunity goes like that. -_-;

I recently entered another contest at Dose.ca to create and upload a character inspired by the movie 9. I thought it would be cool and gives me an excuse to start drawing again. My entry is a monster character called the Lizard Beast, which is similar to the Cat Beast, but it's a lizard. I'm not sure if my entry got in or not, but I'm hoping it did. It would really be sweet to get an internship at Starz Animation, even though I went to college for Graphic Design, but I would love to add animation to my line of work.

Will my entry pull through? Only time will tell.

Hard Core Cleaning

Today I did the most hard core cleaning I have done in a while. My dad wanted to organize the living room and I agreed to help. First was wiping down the dust on the television stand and rearranging the videos, DVDs, video games, and CDs. The first task was rather easy, but things got harder when it came to moving the cabinets and computer desk. It involved a lot of heavy lifting and there were thick layers of dust everywhere, I'm still coughing from it. I used the vacuum to get all of that thick dust and all the nasty stuff that collected up under the couch, ew... Also, the books in the cabinet had to be rearranged and the computer desk, printers and scanner had to be set differently. By the time we were done, I was pooped!

Now that is done and over with, I've got an orthodontist appointment tomorrow and I really should practice drive. Recently I got my G1 license renewed and I really want to pass the road test for G2.

On Friday, I met with a friend down town to see that new G.I. Joe movie. We checked out several stores in the area before going to dinner. After dinner, we tried to buy tickets early, but the theater was closed at the time, so we went to check out the other stores. Once we got to the theater, we did get our early tickets and we got good seats that were at the back of the theater.

Even though we did get good seats, people from a rival dojo were advertising by handing out brochures and doing a demonstration. I found their performance ridiculous and I just wanted to shout out but I didn't because I would have been kicked out of the theater for that. Yet, I reported this to my instructor later on Saturday, turns out everyone at the dojo I go to found it rather funny.

Okay, now I'll describe the film G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra, but beware, for I might give away spoilers. The movie starts in medieval France, this Scotsman was being forced to wear a heated metal mask for selling arms to both sides in the war. The scene changes to Destro (Christopher Eccleston a.k.a. the 9th Doctor) describing these nano bugs and their capability of destruction in war. He assigns a military team to transport the nano bugs in war heads to some location, however, the military is attacked by this mystery high tech fighter jet. All of a sudden, these masked soldiers (called Vipers and they're injected with nano bugs) with a female assassin wearing what looks like a rip off of Kate Beckinsale's Underworld costume show up and try stealing the case containing the war heads. Just when the assassin named Ana (Sienna Miller) is about to get away with the case, the G.I. Joe team moves in and kicks some butt, retrieving the case.

The two soldiers named Duke (Channing Tatum) and Ripcord (Marlon Wayans) join the G.I. Joe team after reporting to General Hawk (Dennis Quaid). However, the Joes are unaware that Destro was behind that attack and that he would send Ana and Storm Shadow, a white clad ninja, to the G.I. Joe base in Egypt to steal the case. When Ana and Storm Shadow crash into the base, they steal the case and fight with the Joes. Duke had a chance to stop Ana, but couldn't force himself to shoot his ex-fiance, so Ana slips away, again. Snake Eyes, a silent masked ninja, locks himself in combat with Storm Shadow, we eventually learn that they were students at the same karate school.

After they get the case, Ana and Storm Shadow run off to Paris to blow the Eiffle Tower away. The Joes chase after them, Snake Eyes holding onto the van that Ana and Storm Shadow are in, Scarlett (Rachel Nichols) on motor bike, and Duke and Ripcord running in these high tech suits. After the chase with lots of destruction and explosives, Duke does stop Ana from destroying most of Paris, but he gets captured.

The Joes track down the Cobra organization to the Arctic, where the remaining war heads are launched. Duke, about to be subject to the injection of nano bugs to become another Viper, learns that the scientist about to inject him is Ana's brother, named Rex, who was thought to be dead. Ana, who had been injected by the bugs too, was able to overcome the bugs and help Duke escape while Rex and Destro make their own escape. Also, Snake Eyes finally kicks Storm Shadow's treacherous butt, Ripcord uses one of Cobra's fighter jets to destroy the war heads, while Scarlett and Breaker (Said Taghmaoui from Lost Season 5) are hacking into the computer systems of the Cobra base.

When Rex and Destro are about to get away, they are captured by the Joes and placed in these high tech prison cells. Ana was sent to this hospital where they would find a solution to get the bugs out of her body. At the end there is a hint of a sequel, because the President (Jonathan Pryce) had been replaced by Zartan (Arnold Vosloo) Cobra's master of disguise.

The movie wasn't bad, just a typical action film. Even though I was never a fan of the action figures or cartoon series, I rather enjoyed it. There was a good deal of special effects and stunt work, most likely from Ray Park as Snake Eyes. Perhaps some things in the movie were a bit over the top such as all that stuff with the nano bugs rebuilding Destro's burnt skin into metal and Storm Shadow jumping down from a very high window and running off unhurt. Still, the movie was fun and a lot better than the crap that Stephen Sommers directed before.

After the movie night, I just attended my martial arts class as usual on Saturday, went shopping for things that could be used to renovate the house and checked on the vegetable patch. Now I have to go and take care of my house duties such as laundry, bird cage, and the recycling.
